Robin Brown, author of the blog, JunkJournal.net shares her garage sale, estate auction and thrift store finds. She loves the thrill of the hunt. She have been going to farm/estate auctions, since she was a child. She loved it then, and loves it now. She also loves a good garage sale and thrift store too. She has visited several of the various "longest yard sale” events in the country.
In addition to finding these gems, some are simply cleaned up, some are given a makeover and some are completely repurposed. Once the makeover is complete, she sells these treasures in multiple antique shops, regional antique markets and online venues. Robin recently retired from a 30+ year career in graphic design and global marketing for a medical device company. She is able to focus on her passion now, collecting “junk”, as well as genealogy and serving her community in philanthropic endeavors.
